The Roland Juno-6 was built to last, but the foam hidden beneath its control panel was never likely to survive unchanged for more than four decades.

Why replace the original gasket?

The foam gaskets help reduce the amount of dust, dirt and debris entering through the openings around the controls. With age, the foam can compress, become brittle or begin to crumble, eventually providing very little protection and potentially leaving loose fragments inside the instrument.

This newly manufactured replacement gasket set has been developed specifically for the Juno-6. It replaces the ageing originals with clean, model-specific parts and is particularly worthwhile when the synth is already open for servicing, repair or restoration.

Installation

Fitting the gasket set requires the instrument to be opened and partially dismantled. If you are not confident working inside electronic equipment, we recommend having the installation carried out by an experienced synthesiser technician. Always disconnect the instrument from the mains before opening it.
