Hidden beneath the control panel of the Roland Juno-106 are foam gaskets that help reduce the amount of dust, dirt and debris entering the instrument through the panel openings.

Why replace the original foam gaskets?

After more than forty years, the original foam can become compressed, brittle or crumbly. In some instruments it has deteriorated almost completely, leaving loose material inside the synth and providing very little meaningful protection.

This newly manufactured replacement gasket set has been developed specifically for the Juno-106. It replaces the ageing originals with clean, model-specific parts and is an ideal addition when the instrument is already open for servicing, repair or restoration.

Installation

Fitting the gasket set requires the instrument to be opened and partially dismantled. If you are not confident working inside electronic equipment, we recommend having the installation carried out by an experienced synthesiser technician. Always disconnect the instrument from the mains before opening it.
